So, while he repeated the answer several times in the press conference, how do you instead interpret it? What do you think the rules of engagement are if rocks are being through into the faces of our armed troops?
It’s not fake news. I saw the news clip. NBC was having a heart attack over it.
Lighten up Francis
Trump never said we will “open fire”. It’s a lie.
If it were me A-10s orbiting call in as needed
Sounds like he is warning the violent people he will use their acts of violence as a legal reason to deny them asylum or entry— load them straight onto a plane.
“Trump NEVER said we will open fire, his statement WAS rocks will be considered as weapons,...”
I understand that. I saw his speech. I guess I should have been clearer. The question should have been: “Who wrote that headline?”
He didn’t say that they would fire on anyone.
The headline is a lie!
Why don’t you go over to DU?
They’d like you there.
If they are peaceful, move them into 10 cities and then get rid of them within the next two or three days.
If they throw rocks, spray the whole lot with Eau d’ Skunk... continuously, until they run away.
And take your DU BS and shove up your whatever. I ain't a Newbie and your insult is poor excuse and no substitute for a substantive answer. So, give us an answer or STFU.
Putting thousands of armed soldiers on an international border is not a stunt. It’s stupid to throw rocks at them. I would stay clear of them.
We are not going to put up with that. If they want to throw rocks at our military, our military fights back. I told them to consider it a rifle. When they throw rocks like they did at the Mexico military and police, I say consider it a rifle.
I heard the audio on the radio and literally gasped. You’re mincing words. I’m not happy about it, but that is what he alluded to. It is not wrong to say he said rock throwers would be fired upon because to suggest otherwise suspends disbelief. He needlessly gave the media ammunition (pun intended).
Fyi, he sounded “off” to me as well. “Subdued” is an apt word for it also.
But.,but..the fairy on Fox News says its not an invasion.
“...load them straight onto a plane.”
