It happens in other companies. We had a man fired and he was told to clean out his locker, and sent out the door.

In another case a man was fired, immediately escorted to the door, his office and locker cleaned and his stuff sent to him in a box.

I once gave two weeks notice to an employer who immediately came to the store, took the keys, informed me that an inventory was going to be done and that I should stay and “help” (unpaid) and that they wanted my permission to search my car and home for merchandise and, if they found any, I would have to produce a receipt showing that I purchased it.

Happened to both of my daughters-——met at the door in the AM,taken to their desks to retrieve personal items,and escorted out the door.

No big deal.
