69 million dollars to prostitute her beliefs, if she ever held them in the first place.

I know. Who of us would reject it? I would reject it simply because it wouldn’t fly in my mind.

I read “Rules for Radicals” some time back, and was so moved in a negative way, that I decided I was going to make an audiobook version to distribute for free to anyone who wanted it, copyright be damned.

Problem was, I couldn’t do it. I simply could not read and record my voice of that reprehensible work in such a way that it was listenable.

No matter how hard I tried, I could not read the book while recording, and upon playback, make it in any way palatable to a listener.

My voice, every part of it, unconsciously would not submit to my will and record in a way that could be successful. The undertones, intonations, cadences, all revealed a deep disgust, and I gave up after a few chapters. The nature of the book, the author, and its disciples was so profoundly disturbing to me as an American that I simply could not do it.

Would I be able to do it for $69 million? I would sure like to think I could try, but some things go deep.

So, Megyn Kelly, getting in front of millions of people and saying crap that contrasted so sharply with her beginnings leads me to believe that her conservative views as they may have been characterized by some, were simply a facade on a pretty face to make inroads in the business.
