It’s not that simple...it’s not just hating Jews per se

It’s more specific to the time of blaming Jews for specific behavior which may have a kernel of truth or even more than a kernel but that kernel gets exploited by bad politicians and rulers and can run from inconvenience to horrific genocide like with Hitler thought as he did...

Sometimes as scapegoats or focus points by very bad people like Hitler who had his own personal hatred folks can speculate as to why

Stalin purged Jews to consolidate his own power and strip theirs in the Soviet Union since many Romanoff hating Jews had been early Mensheviks and later Trotskyites....Stalin purged everyone he deemed a threat

The fact Jews are blamed for killing Christ is more an excuse for madmen than causative though I’m sure it’s been used a lot

More causative is the fact Jews tend to exist outside total assimilation and do well like that and tend to concentrate in urban power centers since outside the antebellum south few have been granted rights to or inclined towards agrarian pastoral pursuit

In past centuries Jews dominated money lending for many reasons
