He was so good that even after I outgrew him, if I saw he was on the tube I would watch him. Everything about that show was so darned adorable.

Wait. This is Mr Rogers we're talkin' about, Ichy?

I'm starting to wonder about you. That old queen was about the creepiest, child-molestinest looking creeper I've ever seen. I couldn't STAND that show when I was a kid. I'd rather watch Davey and Goliath on Sunday, which sucked ass, but was the only thing on Sunday mornings since they didn't have real cartoons. (I think Jonny Quest was also on Sunday, but that's about it).

I think I even had Mr Rogers nightmares. On the upside. That particular phobia may have saved me from being child-molested in real life. Just stay away from weird guys in sweaters, was my policy.

Mr Rogers was bullied a lot as a youth because he was considerably overweight. Those who worked around him attested to his very high integrity. I realize that your taste may be averse to Mr Rogers. However, such a negative comment about such a high quality person may appear to be more of a comment about you than about him.
