I make up lots of words and use them in all sorts of literary places. And when I forget a word in conversation, I put a nonsense word in its place. The manager who taught me to write movie scripts once stopped me and repeated back my last sentence. The rhythm of the sentence was perfect, but there were four different nonsense words in the sentence and the sentence was total nonsense.
