I have driven BMWs in Germany, but will never drive one in the United States. Going back to the 80s, my idea of a BMW driver in the US is that of an arrogant yuppie that weaves in traffic and runs people off the road because in his mind he is superior. He also votes Democrat because it’s trendy.
In Germany, it’s 200 km/h on the autobahn. Just don’t weave in traffic, you will get fussed at.
Well I guess I don’t fit the mold.I put the cruise control on 66 (I worked in an ER for years so I drive conservatively),I don’t weave in traffic (see above comment) and I don’t vote for Rats despite it being *very* trendy where I live.
the autobahn is on my bucket list, bud. I plan to bring my Corvette there..
Ive noticed the same in Audi drivers.
I remember passing cars on the Autobahn, had to be careful you get out in the passing lane and next thing you know you have a BMW on your butt flashing his lights.
I used to have such fun messing with their heads back there. Drivers of both type cars in Hawaii tend to be Japanese and without the mainland attitude about their precious toys.
Look out though for tourists that feel the need to rent a Suburban or Sclade.
