Me too, but I do want said AIDS patients to "pay their fair share".

I suspect that AIDS patients are the largest group affected by the pre-existing conditions issue, but there are many others with incurable diseases (diabetes, MS etc.)
I DO NOT OBJECT to forcing insurance companies to cover pre-existing conditions. If everyone is on the same playing field, then it should work, though costing a little more for all. If there were no law it would be ruinous for any single company to attempt to cover pre-existing, as they would suddenly have all such patients as their customers.
I know some conservative commentators like Mark Levin disagree with this, but business and economics is Mark's biggest weakness. He is also wrong on Trade and tariffs. (But I give him credit for being right on most Constitutional issues, which is yuuge.)
