This source - Middle East Eye - claims to be objective - Our agenda is led by events, not political leanings - but it all appears to be propaganda to me. The 'right of return' for 'refugees' does not apply when a population vacates their territory - which they did voluntarily at the encouragement of the Arab offensive against Israel in 1948.
As to Gaza being an 'impoverished enclave' - it was not that when Israel vacated it; the new residents chose to wage war instead of commerce... they chose exactly what they have now.
IMO Geo Bush / Condoleeza Rice made the hugest blunder of their admin in encouraging Israel to surrender Gaza. It has accomplished nothing positive!
