personally I think when we look at verses such as the birds of the field do not sow or reap for food, why does man?
I think this points towards all nations as the beast..Just saying..

It was the curse that was placed on us from the fall...that we should have to work the ground for our sustenance...though after the flood the curse was taken off the ground so that it became easier for us to gain a living from sowing it...but work with the sweat of our brow we still have to. Of course Christ when mentioning the birds of the field, he was speaking of God’s ability to supply his children with what they needed so that we should not worry about it.
