Enter persuasion: we need to find something that looks like punishment to everyone but Saudi Arabia. Adams's unnamed friend suggests having Saudi Arabia recognize Israel and simulaneously take responsibility both for the Palestinians and for the security of the Al-Aqsa mosque on Temple Mount.
