You’re fine. Being Christian does not equate to letting people rip you off. People who would do so are not worthy of your redemption.
God loves us and wants us to prosper, thus our tribute to his ministry is greater. He does not want us to suffer fools unworthy of our gifts. Those who would drain us are ultimately evil, taking what we could tribute to Him.
