Thornton's employer, property management company Tribeca-STL, says it found the interaction 'disturbing' and terminated her employment for racial profiling.

The employing broker was up between a rock and a hard place. He could get sanctions up to and including a license revocation if he permitted someone committing a discriminatory act remain on staff. Few are likely to take that risk.
