Sebastian Gorka just said he believes Larry Schweikart’s prediction that the Republicans will keep the House and Senate.
We need to pick up lots of seats in the Senate, not just hold. This cycle is the best imaginable for Republicans in the Senate. Democrats are defending like 2/3 of the seats, and many of them are in Red states. The next two cycles will not be so favorable, and there will likely be losses from whatever the number is after 2018. If Republicans can get to 56 or more this cycle, they will be able to weather a few losses and still keep control.
