Publius, I very much like what you said! Reminds me that the tension will grow in our favor (!) and it’s best not to tip one’s hand... this is something we cannot lose.

After reading your bio, I thought to share the following (though I MUCH prefer what you said).

The silence reminds me somewhat of the tension that a fermata can help create as the pianissimo grows in mournful deliberation before the timpani sneaks in and interrupts an early death, as it deliberately establishes an accelerando that makes a generous entrance for the discordant edges of cymbals and blasting trumpets to lift the veil on an unexpected turn of events as the piccolo has the last delirious laugh!!!

...silence.

...surrender.

Ok... back to lurkdom and I think I need a good night’s sleep.
