Just got back from Baton Rouge where our Tigers whipped Georgia
I drove right by BA south of Jax
came home with a stomach virus ...weak as a kitten
Like a nine year old wanting mommy to pass the paregoric
BA there is a new loop around Memphis opening in one week that is interstate 269 which bypasses Memphis from about 30 miles east from I 40 to about 25 miles south at Hernando Miss on 55
Man that will make the drive so much easier than the old inner loop 240 which always bogged up
I can make Nashville to Jackson in 5.5 hours easy that way
Used to be a toss up Memphis or Birmingham
Man I bet I’ve made that drive 50-60 times past 20 years at least
You take care of yourself. Stomach viruses are the dickens.
That new loop would have been great 20 years ago when hubby’s job had him driving all over the SE. He’s always hated the ‘non loop’ cities.
LSU is our ‘second’ team we root for. That big cat is gorgeous. We need to visit red stick sometime just to see that cat.
