The question is dishonest to begin with because it is based on a false premise. The question as phrased implies that religious faith requires evaluation of personal character as a primary attribute in picking a leader. Nothing could be more misdirected. A Christian knows that all persons are sinners and without merit in God’s eyes. Trump, Clinton, Sanders, Howdy-Doody— all equally fallen in the eyes of God. So following St Paul’s doctrine of the two kingdoms, Christians are required only to choose the leader they believe will do the best job of leading them. And that’s why we chose Trump. Best candidate available.

And thus what i mainly described was the manner of policies on the socialist "ship," versus the overall moral character of the "captain."
