Tapping on my head, my wooden leg (not really :)), a wooden table......OK, here goes....never had a virus since 1996. On a company LT, took Malwarebytes to remove a hard to remove minor annoyance once. Just call me blessed.

Used various AVs, malware products etc, but mainly, paid close attention. I’ll look into VIPRE.com though, Thanks.

I’ve been pretty virus free, you really just need to watch where you download stuff from, especially programs, not click on e-mail links. The best way is to get a VPN so your IP address shows up random, like from Zimbabwe, etc.

If someone gets your IP address they can easily run a program to find your open ports, once they do that they can get in and run rogue programs. It’s easy and I know how to do it being in the field for 34 years.

Once they have your IP address they can also find out your location right down to the street address.

Have tried for years at a time all the famous ones. Every last one of them ended up causing great problems. Vipre has never caused a problem. It uses conventional methods plus some serious proprietary strategies that seem to be extremely effective.
