He gave our military the budget they needed
“Anything you dont like that hes doing related to law enforcement or military?”
Not in that realm, no
“How about outside that realm?”

_Aaron Jimenez, police chief in St. Ann, Missouri_
“Why do you support Trump?”
I like his policies and what hes done for law enforcement. [paraphrasing: Said he could feel Trumps support for law enforcement more than past presidents]
“How does he make you feel that support?”
By his comments, things that hes said. When people start attacking the police I dont think hes attacked the police or said anything negative
Subject:* *Travel Pool Report #6: Leaving for the airport & Rod update*
Pool was led out of the room as the president concluded his remarks at roughly 2:18pm.
He was several minutes behind. Were rolling as of 2:25 pm toward the airport.
His remarks were open press, but its worth noting that he addressed his AF1 conversation with Rosenstein. The audience laughed at his impression of the press.
He also talked about Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, and how easy he thought it would be to confirm the judge. The audience applauded loudly at his statements.
Finally, Hogan Gidley sends along the following read-out on the presidents conversation on AF1 with the deputy attorney general:
The President and Deputy Attorney General, Rod Rosenstein, met for about 45 minutes aboard Air Force One. They discussed various topics including the International Chiefs of Police event later today, support for our great law enforcement officials, border security, how to better address violent crime in Chicago, and general DOJ business. Chief of Staff, General John Kelly and acting Principal Associate Deputy Attorney General, Ed OCallaghan, were also in the meeting.
Thank you for always posting these pool reports. Something I wouldn’t see or know if you didn’t. I don’t usually keep news on all day.
