We have a Homemedic massager that sold for in the neighborhood of $60 about 20 years ago at Costco. It has several speeds, intensities and different heads for the actual massaging parts. We lend it to everyone we know with musculoskeletal pain and only one person with a complicated fracture (tib-fib with pinning, IIRC) said it hurt too much to use. You might want a demo before you purchase. So nice to home-based therapy rather than pills.
