The interaction of animals is always a source of wonder for me. These two are bonded, and it seems to have only been since Beaker has gotten healthy, grew to normal adult size and put on weight. When I first got them, they seemed to be just cage mates, and there was no bonding evident.
They’ve gotten to the point now that they aren’t all over the place when I put my hand in to get the food dish. It used to be that they both went all Gladys Kravitz on me. I’m glad they’re settling down.
Moving is difficult for animals and people, but you’ll all relax in your new environment if you give it time. Also, there’s a little more daylight each day!
The yutes and I are going to Kings Mountain battlefield today on an Educational Outing with Exertion. I’ve cut up apples and carrots, and next, I’ll make a sandwich.
