Yes. I see that you are missing two letters in your tagline.

Yes, but see, it wouldn’t all fit unless I left the name off. I hope you and he will forgive me.

Merry Christmas to you and yours, Bob. Are your daughters at home for the occasion?

Just use another ampersand.

The former TeenOne decided to work today, so someone else wouldn’t have to, but has just returned to the fold.

We will now open presents. I wonder what I got for my wife?

OK. But if you would, please, show me where to put the ampersand? I’m at the time of day when my brain says its done enough and refuses to try and process anything more complicated than a, b, c...

In theory, practice makes everything work more efficiently, but in practice, it doesn’t.

****

Lucid dreaming:

Yes, you can daydream, but your subconscious can make the daydream real.

And there’s true power in that. I don’t need to draw examples, they abound already. If you have it within you to exert control over your imagination in any manner, use it often, and use it well.

***

The last part won’t make it as a tagline, but it’s something I came up with recently, and I like the way it sounds.

Oh duh. See? Thanks. I never would have caught that. You’re invaluable to me, Bob, for lots of reasons!

And now, I’m off to bed where I can’t make too many more mistakes.

I hope your evening is merry and bright with joy!

"I hope your evening is merry and bright with joy!"

I'm sure it will be. I'm contemplating how useful it would be if my tongue could be a washcloth.

Howya! I hope everything is going well there. Supper-for-12 has been eaten and cleaned up, and DP is about to serve pie.

"Been busy, got lots on my mind."

Theoretically, that could be a good thing. Do try to be careful about it.

Well.. No one is sick or deceased. Christmas Eve service attended. Son #2 had to go to work. Son #1 is unavailable. No big Christmas dinner this year. Presents exchanged and cats tended to.

Gray and white in/outdoor cat caught himself a treerat dinner for Christmas but was disappointed that we wouldn't let him bring it indoors to share. Due to our insensitivity to his dining comfort, a partially consumed treerat is now lying in my to-the-left-of-the-porch garden plot.

Else it was an ordinary day..

(There is the possible issue of running out of fuel oil.. We have a delivery scheduled but the earliest they can make it is Friday. The gauge is caressing the E mark. As a preventive measure I have tossed 20 gallons of off-road diesel in the tank. Hopefully it will suffice but I will be checking the gauge periodically until the fuel truck pulls up in front Friday. I found that a local station just across the border into NJ sells off-road. Off-road diesel means no tax so based on NY prices it saves at least $0.90 a gallon. I previously was driving 14 miles into NJ to a station that I knew sold off-road so learning that this station carries it is a saving of about 30 miles of driving.)

Good luck on the oil. Do you have a backup source of energy?

Elegant floof!

Good morning. I was here, but answering a missive. Now I’ll shower and start my day for real.

It rained most of the day yesterday, so if the cloud cover isn’t too low today, it means I’ll see snow on the mountains. If there is that white stuff, I’ll take a photo of it, and share. I keep forgetting to upload my pics to the laptop, but I did it yesterday, so I can send a lot more than one at a time in the emails. Like to my Real Brother.

Face,

I hope you had a Merry Christmas in your new digs.

I didn’t have to work. I was back yesterday, but I was with fambly so I didn’t check in.

Somehow Christmas has become a day to start re-watching The Lord of The Rings. Weird, but there you go.
