Ah...movies. Thank you for the link. It’s a nice follow up to an altered reality article wherein “the narrative” is that both sides of the aisle and the television monitor have become “radicalized” as a result of the election of one Donald Trump.

Parties have always been able to stall a nominee, if they had the votes. There was no tradition of filibuster for the SC nominees either until the democrats started it, and then the democrats broke it.
