How come TWO has a “W” in it it but there’s no W sound ?
Yet, One has a “W” sound with no “W” ?

How come Q has a Y sound in it, but no Y.

Speaking of Y. Why does WHY have the extra WH in it. Why not just Y?

Sanskrit “dva” for two. Dwa is two in Polish, “w” pronounced “v”.
