Ok. Perhaps “never -Trumper”was too strong of an adjective for Rush.
However, he certainly did NOT support Trump in the early days after the nomination, or else I’d still be listening to his show.
Apparently Pres. Trump just boarded AF1 with toilet paper attached to his shoe. Anybody know anything?
Rush has always supported Trump 100%.
It was too subtle for some people’s tastes, but HIGHLY EFFECTIVE.
Rush recognized Trump’s genius as a showman. He saw some of himself in the candidate, and always thought he had a good chance to win, despite all the negative punditry.
But his style was not rah-rah, like Hannity’s for example. Day after day, Rush dissected the arguments against Trump while explaining the unusual “Crazy like a fox” tactics for those having trouble understanding and accepting him.
