This next confirmation will be the most amazing show yet by the Democrats — Unless Ruth Buzzy dies like tomorrow. In which case, the Dems will not be able to gin up the same level of vitriol that they had against Kavanaugh due to complete exhaustion. They’ll look even more evil and panicked than they do right now. I just don’t see how they could pull it off with any more credibility than they have now (which is none except among their 30% zombie base).

I agree. As much as I love my own parents it’s easy to see the significant mental decline in both of them in their 80’s. For some it may show up a bit later or a bit earlier but the age of 80 is a good age for any politician or Judge to enter into mandatory retirement. They should want to anyway.
Mental decline doesn’t mean the quality of life is over with. Call it a wake up call to shift down a gear or two to enjoy life and the simpler things it has to offer.
