55 mph....... Ha, I could hit that in first gear before my front wheel hit the ground. I remember the cops had dodge diplomats, they didn’t bother to turn on their lights. 55 was just a suggestion that we didn’t follow and they couldn’t enforce. Helmets were so you could have an open casket.
Got hit twice with the age jump. Couldn’t drink for a month and a half in 1981 and again in 1983.
