Any rap song today is bad.
Aretha Franklin sang suggestive songs.
Brown Sugar ends with a flip in the final verse “just like a young BOY should”
How about Dr Hook, Freakers Ball.
Freakin’ at the Freaker’s Ball
Dr. Hook
(Shel Silverstein)
Well there’s gonna be a freaker’s ball (ha ha)
Tonight at the Freaker’s Hall
And you know you’re invited one and all
Uh oh
Come on baby’s grease your lips
Grab your hats and swing your hips
And don’t forget to bring your whips
We’re going to the freaker’s ball (yes)
Blow your whistle, and bang your gong
Roll up something to take along
It feels so good, it must be wrong
We’re freakin’ at the freaker’s ball
Well all the fags and the dykes they’re boogie-in’ together
The leather freaks are dressed in all kinds of leather
The greatest of the sadists and the masochists too
Screaming please hit me and I’ll hit you
The FBI is dancin’ with the junkies
All the straights, swingin’ with the funkies
Across the floor and up the wall
We’re freakin’ at the freaker’s ball, y’all
We’re freakin’ at the freaker’s ball
Everybody’s kissing each other
Brother with sister, son with mother
Smear my body up with butter
And take me to the freaker’s ball
Pass that roach please, and pour the wine
I’ll kiss yours if you’ll kiss mine
I’m gonna boogie ‘til I’m cold blind
Freakin’ at the freaker’s ball
White ones, black ones, yellow ones, red ones
Necrophiliacs looking for dead ones
The greatest of the sadists and the masochists too
Screaming please hit me and I’ll hit you
Everybody ballin’ in batches
Pyromaniacs strikin’ matches
I’m gonna itch me where it scratches
Freakin’ at the freaker’s ball, y’all
We’re freakin’ at the freaker’s ball
We’re at a ball
We’re freakin’ at the freaker’s ball

He Hit Me and It Felt Like a Kiss
He couldn't stand to hear me say
That I'd been with someone new,
And when I told him I had been untrue
He hit me
And it felt like a kiss
He hit me
And I knew he loved me
If he didn't care for me
I could have never made him mad
But he hit me,
And I was glad
Yes, he hit me
And it felt like a kiss
He hit me
And I knew I loved him
And then he took me in his arms
With all the tenderness there is,
And when he kissed me,
He made me his
I love this song by Dan Reeder - very very politically incorrect in any era.
Uneasy Rider by Charlie Daniels.
“”Well he’s a friend of them long haired, hippy-type, pinko fags!
I betchya he’s even got a commie flag
Tacked up on the wall inside of his garage.”
Great country song “when I say ‘no’ I mean ‘maybe’ and maybe I mean yes.”

There was a disco song called “In the Bush”.
I hope I don’t need to explain that one. Although, since I was so young when it came out, I was a bit confused as to what they meant.
Well you never heard it on mainstream radio in the 70s right up to today but at parties back then we played the Rolling Stones Star Star and sang along loudly to it. :)

Chick-A-Boom
Once in a while, listening to an old favorite, the lyrics suddenly stick out like a sore thumb -- "Like You Do" (REO) still gets it done, but implies sex with hookers; "30 Days In The Hole" (Humble Pie) glorifies coke use, jail time, and longer-term short-term sexual relationships; "Lucifer" (Bob Seger, first real hit, found on Mongrel, last of the Bob Seger System albums) gets played pretty much every week to the current time (around here), but is about boozin' and shaggin', getting in fights, and the title bumps some people; loads more.
For that matter, "Bang A Gong" (T Rex), and "Love the One You're With" (Stephen Stills), the latter of which still gets played around here from time to time (either the original, or the Isley's version).
