Horses are hard work and expensive. It must have been painful to give them up, though. I always wanted a horse, but these days I’m not up for it, I’m sorry to say.
Thank goodness we have a large, fenced in area for the dogs to run around in.
Animals are wonderful companions.
I am not up for the labor of keeping horses anymore. Hated to admit it but 55 was when I no longer could handle all that heavy work. I am at peace about their new homes so that helps. I miss them, but have access to my friend’s horse when I really need a horse fix. I go see her about once a month.
I really appreciate my dog even more now.
