My theory is they don’t want to admit their sister/daughter/cousin has multiple personalities. 1) the real 52 year old grown adult college educated Dr. Ford, 2) 3 year old “pretty pose” confused Chrissy, and 3) the 12 year old boy who wrote that messy chicken scratched polygraph statement who didn’t know her first name and misspelled her last name. That could be why the polygraph guy only asked 2 bland questions and why Mitchell softballed and why the Committee interrupted ever 5 minutes to praise her bravery to keep her calm and focused on one personality.
Her brothers are lawyers? I didn’t know that. You’re theory is very plausible since she refused to share any more of her therapist’s notes, other than the little bit she did.
