Earlier today day, lawyers for Dr Christine Blasey Ford sent a terse letter to @FBI demanding that they interview her. That's actually kind of funny: as if she or her lawyers have any say in what a gigantic federal agency does
But it's also interstate & revealing at the same time. It says: 1) Her lawyers (who are really just political operatives) think she is still useful as a political tool 2) That they're unaware of the evidence @senjudiciary has and hey're willing to trot Dr Ford out to lie under oath to @senjudiciary & the @FBI agents in order to continue to try to smear Judge Kavanaugh.
The letter @ChuckGrassley & @senjudiciary sent tonight to Dr Ford's 'lawyers' (handlers, actually) makes it clear they have hard evidence in form of sworm testimony that refutes all her claims, & proves Dr Ford lied under oath in hearing.
If Michael Bromwich & Debra Katz really want Ford interviewed by @FBI knowing how skilled they are at seeing deception, then how desperate must Democrats be?
Ford & her legal team have a giant catch 22: the @FBI can charge her for lying to Congress (perjury) *right now* before she utters a word to an agent. The testimony, the changes in story fr her letter, & now sworn statement by ex refuting her in total.
If Dr Ford *does* talk to @FBI & carries on the assault story, she's lying to FBI agents- a serious crime. She doesn't have a prayer of pulling that off. If she recants her story to them, they ask her 'were you lying under oath then, or to us now?'
If bromwich & Katz push that interview they are also knowingly participating in a scheme to lie to @FBI agents & Katz & Bromwich *have already* suborned perjury before congress. A serious crime.
Several R senators have said there is an investigation of the lawyers, Feinstein's actions, and Ford's credibility w regard to the witnesses named.
Note: NO ONE went looking for Dr Ford's ex- he cane forward on his own and has sworn under penalty of perjury. Thats not all. Dr Ford herself said the committee has her emails in her opening statement to committee in the hearing.
The @FBI has all these documents, & transcripts/testimony. This ends w Kav cleared & the accusers *as well those running them* in deep deep shit. /End
