Good morning DEPLORABLES!!!
My hubby saw bear scat just outside our fence last night, and our neighbor saw one wandering around, plus a mountain lion dragging a raccoon around. But... the good news... It’s RAINING!! Woo-Hoo!!! I had to get up at 4:30 this morning to do the happy dance. First rain since last spring, and when you live in wildfire country, rain is your frend!

We won’t be singing “rain, rain, go away, come again another day” anytime soon.
It even rained on our parade Sat. and no one complained.
Congratulations on the rain! I know how that feels, having had a cabin in the Sierras for about 12 years.
People here still think I’m nuts but I love the rain. It does sort of minimize what you get to do outside, but after 54 years in the desert plus the decade hoping the cabin didn’t burn down along with all the beautiful Ponderosa Pines and giant sequoias, I don’t think I will ever get tired of raindrops.
