Now that's it's almost here, I can bring this up: 1 of the biggest reasons Dems picked this fight was because in the next few years the Supreme Court is going to be hearing a lot of unprecedented cases dealing with the #SpyGate fallout.

As long as the Supreme Court had a Liberal majority, the Democratic Party and the coup plotters could expect SOME legal cover granted to them.
