Probably doing their background investigating, getting their ducks in a row.
When they talk to her they will know more about what happened than she does.
They will know instantly when she lies and what she lies about.
That’s most likely it. I thought I had read they hadn’t even started though. Really didn’t make a lot of sense.
I wish I had more faith that the FBI would actually be fair though.
