Manchin voted “aye”.
Senator Murkowski voted no on cloture.
Not always. Hopefully, so.
Maybe MurCOWski will wise up, for the final vote.
I’m working VERY hard not to lose that sense of humor, I want to rip someones head of.
Manchin voted yes for Cloture, now if I can only remember what LS told us about this, hummmmm.
I think he said a yes for cloture probably means a yes on final.
Mad-cow-ski is a traitor, votes NO.
Three of four key Senators vote YES.
MurCOWski stays a cow, or sow, for now.
I just realized I was holding my breath during the vote. I really need to quit getting so stressed, it’s not good for my arms! I don’t know how judge Kavanaugh and his family can stand this!
By my count 50 = 43. Still ongoing
She just voted no on cloture.
Reaching across the aisle or just a PITA?
That’s what the dims thought too, pubbies would roll over, hide under their desks quaking in fear.
Yes 51
No 49
Cloture passes.
51 - 49 Cloture passed.
Just what did Chi-Fi threaten her with in that infamous hallway scene?
Yea- 51
No- 49
I am proud of mansion. He is the one Democrat that is truly representing his people. These people should not be voting what they want, they should be voting what there constituents want. And he will have hell to pay from his party.

Cloture on the Kavanaugh nomination has been invoked. Under the provisions of Rule XXII of the Standing Rules of the Senate, now begins up to 30 hours of debate on the nomination followed by a vote on confirmation.
We can only lose one now

Very proud of the U.S. Senate for voting YES to advance the nomination of Judge Brett Kavanaugh!
I hope he gets confirmed.
But it still wouldn’t be over, right? As long as we hold the Senate, he could be voted on again after the midterms?
According to LS, we’re keeping the Senate and even gaining some. And losing this could really fire up the base.
I’m feeling that Mad-cow-ski is getting a boat load of calls from Alaska about now.
Remember what Grahambo said about any pubbie voting NO, they don’t belong in the R party.
She needs to be striped whatever committees she sits on.

Vote to end debate on Kavanaugh nomination tees up a prospective confirmation vote on Kavanaugh Saturday afternoon around 5 pm et.
30 hours of debate are allowed for opponents of an issue before the Senate is required to conduct a final vote. But the 30 hours are not always used
__________________________________________________________ Although the rules allow 30 hours of debate, everyone is pretty dug in.
Debate is not going to change anything.
Maybe GOP Senators need to decline their debate hours and move on to a vote sooner.
Then Daines can get on a plane to MT.
Exactly! And move her office to a remote parking lot. If she votes no, she needs to have all funding cut off & primaried next time she comes up for election.
