Agreed. I just caught up this weekend for the first time in 6 weeks.

On another note, I do empathize on the bachelor thing and being questioned about sexuality. After my kid’s dad found himself a greener pasture I put myself thru a technical school and went to work as a single mom. After working a few years I bought myself a Harley. I spent the next 15 years with that “dikes on bikes” rumor at the large company for which I worked. I was very involved with the kid’s activities and church until both offspring graduated so stayed single. My home was rural and my commute to work was 30 miles each way. I’d loved riding dirt bikes as a kid with my brothers and that old ex-husband had always had a motorcycle I rode occassionally. I concluded that my 60 miles/day could be spent doing something I enjoy as stress relief as well as economical, fair weather transport so went for it. A friend sold me his bike for a great deal when he was buying a new bike but I naively didn’t anticipate that it branded me homosexual. Met my current wonderful hubby 2 years after youngest child graduated. He claims he’s grateful to those idiots in the world. But living with people casting those aspersions while living the best Christian life one knows how is a challenge.

There are quite a number of FReeper women who ride bikes. Met one for lunch and got to inspect her Harley. Much fun. So glad you had something to relieve stress. And I know that you recognize what the opinions of idiots such as you describe are worth. And that you’re worth everything.
