New 26,000-pound dinosaur discovery was Earth's largest land animal second only to your mom.

The title is a bit misleading. This dinosaur was the largest at the time of its existence not even close to all time heaviest. This creature walked around during the late Triassic/early Jurassic when dinosaurs started to get going.

Man, he had to be eating a million-plus calories every single day....to keep his ‘build’ up.

So out of 11 bone fragments, they can conjure up the size, age and image of a previously unseen animal.
Sure takes a lot of faith to believe that stuff.

Thanks, “twice the size of a large elephant” didn’t sound that impressive, now I know why.

OK, I gotta ask.
Is the little Dino:
1) Kissing A$$ ?
2) Checking for hemorrhoids ?
3) Making a lucky exit from the big Dino's digestive tract ?
4) The original Brown Noser ?
5) Just passing by ?
6) Selling Dinoscout Cookies ?

“The researchers have named it Ledumahadi mafube, which is Sesotho for “a giant thunderclap at dawn.” Sesotho is an official South African language indigenous to the part of the country where the dinosaur was found.
“The name reflects the great size of the animal....”

So does BFD, and that’s lots easier to remember. Kind of like SpaceX’s BFR.

What do you mean? Can’t you tell something has neck flaps from a few ribs and thigh bones?
