It reminds of something that's happened at my high school.

I graduated in 1979, and there was a guy who went on to become a famous musician in the class that graduated in 1981. By our 30th reunion, just about everyone remembered going to backyard parties where he played during high school.

Not that they're lying, but I find it hard to believe that so many people saw him. If you look back at the yearbooks, he wasn't really all that popular.

Did you go to any backyard parties where the unnamed famous underclassman musician performed? If not, did you ever hear others talk about the parties back then?

Gal that worked in my shop went to school with him in OK.

She never met or remembered him in school yet he was there.
