10 kids without a dad in sight, could be construed as further sign of serious attachment disorder--desperate for affection and to feel needed, significant, worthwhile.

Or, she was so much of an air-head she was not taking "the pill." and never slowed down enough to demand a condom. Though one would think that after a kid or 3, SOMETHING about reality would have 'sunk in.'
