What do you think of the theory that Dr. Ford was hypnotized in therapy, and so the “memory” may be a suggested one, and therefore she truly does believe it, but it is false?
I think it’s possible that she had some experience in her life that she’s transferred onto. I think she knows it’s a lie, though, vs. really thinking that it’s all the same thing.
Given her rabidly liberal mentality substrate, the distance between her normal cognitions on such matters—and such an implanted ‘memory,’ could have been microscopic in length.
