The Jesuits are a teaching order founded by St Ignatius Loyola, who, while recovering from a war wound decided to become a Soldier for Christ. He founded the Society of Jesus and gained many followers.
For several hundred years they were a solid group of men dedicated to teaching and missionary work, that is until about 50 years ago. They seem to have lost their charism. A few of the older guys are solid, some are saintly, then there is a lost generation. The much younger guys are better. All are highly educated, you will never meet a stupid Jesuit. My teacher had seven languages and two doctorates.
The fact that Judge K goes to church and actually follows Jesus means that they did not corrupt his faith at the prep school.
There are other perspectives on the Jesuits . . . and their goals, deeds etc. Some from former members.
Thank you I am all in, let’s vote.
