I agree with you, I think his point is that the Republicans do care. Unfortunately it won’t matter in the short term, as soon as he’s voted in the left has the riot machine all geared up and ready to go.

But my point is that the Democrats do not care. So while Republicans may be fighting to look good in history, the Dems are not. They're fighting for power, the power to shape this country, and our individual lives, to their will.

And, if they win, history will hail them as heroes, because history is written by the victors.

Republicans do not understand this.
