their statement used a plural - existing credible accusations

“I’ve ordered the FBI to conduct a supplemental investigation to update Judge Kavanaugh’s file.
As the Senate has requested, this update must be limited in scope and completed in less than one week.”
so, again, what does limited in scope mean vs. existing credible accusations ?
It should not be that hard to specifically say what to investigate. If anything, Pres. Trump should know the nightmare of a "no specifics" investigation...

“Limited in scope” means after a week-long FBI investigation, Flake and the rest can delay the vote again but complaining they want a “thorough” investigation, not a “limited” one.
