Closed hearings only, no cameras. If the public wants to see the candidate he/she can do an interview or read up on them
Closed hearings and a shorter confirmation process wont stop what has happened. It will just cause it to occur quicker. They were sitting on a lot of this stuff since August.
Keep in mind the current nonsense all began happening in the press AFTER the hearings were over.
