RE: Bible Study Fellowship
The LORD got me involved with BSF. As I going to bed, I flippantly told HIM I was sorry I didn’t read the BIBLE that night. Within minutes one of the parents from the Christian School where my children attended called me and said, “I think I’m supposed to invite you to Bible Study Fellowship.”
I had never heard of BFS, and I am thankful I accepted her invitation. It was the first in-depth Bible study I had ever done. The program taught me how to search for truth and understanding.
So many women from all denominations were involved in our local one. We had around 800 women, from every church you can imagine. The priest from one of the Catholic churches encouraged his women in the congregation to go and learn and then come back and teach the rest of their women. I had the wonderful opportunity of being the Class Administrator and got to meet and visit with Miss Johnson in San Antonio, TX. What a wonderful and Godly woman. Now that I have finished the 5 years, I now am in Precepts Bible Study. It keeps me in the Word daily and I love it also.
