Just saw Ian Prior on F&F. He used to work at the DOJ and is friends with Rod Rosenstein. He says that RR respects and enjoys working with POTUS. He says that he thinks the Mueller probe is winding down and that democrats will likely be disappointed with the results. He also indicated that appointing Mueller was to get the investigation away from McCabe.
Dont know if all true, but he seemed credible...

RR sends a surrogate out instead of going on F&F himself, which he could surely do, and you deem the surrogate credible? /rhetorical question
Good luck with that.

Yeah, that’s what I’ve been thinking too, once the McCabe attack came out in NYT. Muller is bad but McCabe is vile, like Strzok the Smirk. Course Muller HIRED all those guys so it was still bad, but then counter-coup team was able to attack them individually and get them off the SCs staff.
If McCabe had been allowed to remain as Acting Director FBI and keep the Russia investigation it would have been impossible to get him out of there (obstruction!) and the whole bureau would have remained in enemy hands.
