Not likely. Ford’s dad was one time the President of Burning Tree Country Club in Bethesda, a club that STILL does not admit women and barely allows them on the premises. It’s likely that there’s some buried past happenings through that.
There definitely seems to be a golf theme! LOL!

BECKEL: Leland Ingham when I married her. I was going to be a bachelor all my life and I woke up one day and decided I wanted kids. So I married the first good looking woman that came along.
IMUS: Where did you meet her?
BECKEL: On the golf course, the three of us were playing. She came up and said can I play with you guys? Put her ball down at the men's tee and she looked at me like you dumb son of a — boom, passed me by 60 yards, 18th hole, beat me by 22 points and she flipped the ball to me next time you ought to play at the woman's tee. And I married her, and cost me half a million a lesson.
IMUS: That never gets old.
BECKEL: I listen to yours.
IMUS: When she played did you ever follow her around the gallery.
BECKEL: On occasion, yes, she played in the lower tour of the women's, I think, where there's a lot of different activity goes on and I wasn't welcome in some of these places. I can't go into it into on your show. When I come on here I get in trouble. I got called into McGee's office because I said something on your show.
