After action report - Springfield Rally
What an amazing day. What an amazing rally. What a Great President.
My day started at 8 am driving from KC to Springfiels. An easy 2 1/2 hour drive. Quick stop at subway for a sandwich to take for the long day sitting in line. Got to the Hammond Center on the campus of Missouri State University about 11am. There were already stream of people heading from the parking garages with chairs, wagons and umbellas in tow. Forecast was 60% chance of rain with Temps in low 70’s. In other words a perfect day.
Made our way the two blocks the the queuing area and there were already at least a thousand people in line. As I’m walking up I spot my first Q shirt. The guy had a custom flag and shirt. Go up and introduce myself. Find out he is an autist. Found our place in line. Setup our cheap disposable camping chairs bought just for today. Notice this large muscular guy wander up and down the lines checking everybody out. Appeared to be part of the security detail...or maybe Q??? Later I noticed the autist and his wife grabbed by him and taken to VIP.
Made lots of new friends with good people all around us. The lines keep growing and growing. Extended for blocks and could not see the end. Protestor were cordoned off to an area across the street. Large police presence between the groups. Looked to be about 100 or so. Many Looked like hippies still living the 60’s. There was shouting back and forth. One lady in a Trump mask made her way into our area and got mouthy but she was quickly dispatched.
Finally opened the doors at around 3pm or so. I could have got on the floor next to stage but Ms Dartoid wanted a seat. Gotta keep mamma happy. Found us a seat very close to floor and stage. Kind of glad not to be VIP. They had bleacher seating. Ended up sitting next to Josh Hawling’s aunt and uncle. Super nice people and learned a lot about Josh. Come on Missouri, get out the vote. We need this man supporting President Trump.
The energy is so strong. The crowd is pumped up. The air feels electric. The played a lot of up beat music an the PA. The crowd is just going nuts. Joy Villa (??) Is in the house. Taking pictures with people and just appeared like a really nice person. Finally our President comes out and the crowd goes nuts. That hour plus speech felt like ten minutes. My voice totally spent. I have not yelled and cheered like that in many many years, and never at a political rally.
POTUS was on fire. Josh Hawley did a great job speaking. Very, very impressed by him. He is a rising star. Keep Your Eyes On Josh.
I noticed no Q shirts allowed inside. Security was very heavy. TSA, Secret Service (who all looked so young except agents around POTUS), state highway patrol, German shepherds around entrance.
Just a great speech by POTUS. The crowd loved him. They announced 10,000 inside and 20,000 turned away. This is Springfield MO....farm country. So yeah, tell me all about those fake poll numbers.
So speech wrapped up, made our way to parking garage. A few cranky people frustrated with slow exit had some angry words and thought we were going to see big Ole Billy Bob get his but kicked. Made our way back to KC. Got home at midnight. Tired but so pumped for all that this great President is doing for us.
They want us divided. Stay together my FRiends and Q-on.

Question on the Q shirt guy. Were they (guy and wife) taken to special VIP area for those with Q's shirts? Do you know if he was allowed to wear the Q shirts, was told that those with Q shirts had to remover or turn them inside-out?

What a wonderful experience you were able to enjoy! Thank you for sharing in such great detail. I’m hoping to be at one rally in my lifetime, I feel it would be a missed opportunity if I don’t get the chance.
