I think it reflects badly on Q to be endorsing these boards or encouraging Q believers to go there in the midst of a turf war. Smacks of gathering your flock into an enclosure and then setting the wolves on them.
I think the Q & A the other night was an intel op. Q wanted to see how many 8chan could handle. When he found that 442,000 users made the system almost inoperable, he (rightly so) decided there needed to be a place for the chaff (us) to gather and be out of the autist's way.
I think it was smart to make a new place where all the reddit people could go.
It's about keeping 8chan open for work.
