I’m interested in more details about the font. We need to know what the history of the document is - was this an e-mail? One of the posters on that thread is convinced - whatever source - it was printed and scanned (or something) and that accounts for the skewing; possible but the font size looks different to me. If it’s an e-mail then it’s binary and has HTML source + headers and meta data. Is it a word document attached to an e-mail, thus without headers i.e. from/to/subject? Well there’s metadata with that, too (i.e. history of edits to HRC exhonoration letter. The history of events is also important - was this the same letter as sent to the congresswoman and then redone for Feinswein? Then we’d love to see the other, too. Clearly the date is current.

I’m presuming the source of this document was an e-mail (direct contents) or attached doc & that’s why there’s no signature.

Modern e-mails contain multiple parts; typically one with HTML (just like formatted on these pages) and an accompanying with stripped text (for display on non-HTML e-mail clients). Anybody that’s cut & copied + pasted text in & around an e-mail knows how such a font change could arise. It might also have been intentional i.e. highlighting her charge - in which case it would be interesting to compare against other(s).

Senate Judiciary Committee Republican staffers should have fun with this one :)
